火事の場合　Case of A Fire

「消防署です。火事ですか、救急ですか？」
「Fire station. Fire or ambulance?」

「火事です。」
「I have a fire.」

「それはどこですか?」
「Where is it?」

「天神町です。」
「Tenjin-cho.」

「近くの目標物は？」
「Is there any landmark nearby?」

「消防署の近くです。」
「It is near the fire station.」

「What is burning?」

「台所から火が出ています」

救急の場合　Case of An Anbulance

消火器の使い方｜How to use Fire Extiguishers

• 消火器を火元の近くに運ぶ
  - Carry the extinguisher near the fire.
• 安全ピンをはずす
  - Remove the pin.
• ホースを火元に向ける
  - Aim the nozzle at the seat of fire.
• レバーを強く握る
  - Squeeze the lever hand.

火災から命を守る10のポイント｜Ten tips for survival from Fire

• 幼児、病人またはお年寄りだけを残して外出しない。
  - Don't go out leaving small children,a sick or aged person alone.
• 方向の異なる2つ以上の逃げ道を決めておく。（エレベーターは使用しない。）
  - Plan two or more escape routes in different directions beforehand.(Don't use elevators.)
• 寝具やパジャマは防炎製品を使用する。
  - Use fire retardant bedclothes and pajamas.
• 寝タバコは絶対にしない、させない。
  - Don't smoke or let others smoke in bed.
• 就寝前には必ず火の元を確かめる。
  - Make sure that all the fires are turned off before going to bed.
• 火災を出したり、見つけたら、「火事だ！」と大きな声で周りの人に協力を求める。
  - Shout "Fire!" for help if you cause or find a fire.
• 服装や持ち物にこだわらず、できるだけ早く避難する。
  - Don't care about what you wear on what you toke out for quicker evacuation.
• 煙の中を避難するときは、できるだけ姿勢を低くする。
  - When you evacuate through smoke, stay as low as possible.
• 一旦逃げ出したら再び中に戻らない。
  - Once you have escaped, don't get back in.
• 逃げ遅れた人がいたら近くの消防隊員にすぐ知らせる。
  - Tell the fire department if someone is trapped.
